Therefore, no <br />exposure of ground water can occur during and <br />after mining operations. <br />The proposed operation will consume <br />ground water by _ evaporation, _ dust <br />control, reclamation, _ and water <br />removed in the mined product. Prior to initia[io^ <br />of these uses of groundwater, the applicant will <br />need to obtain a gravel well permit. Prior [o <br />obtaining a permit, an approved water supply <br />plan or a decreed plan for augmentation will be <br />req uued. <br />"Ile applicant has indicated plans [o use <br />other water for uses at the gravel pit or for <br />storage in the gravel pit. The applicant will need <br />to provide evidence to this office that [he water Cs <br />permitted or decreed for such uses. <br />COMMENTS: <br />Prior to approving a gravel well <br />permit, the applicant will need a wavier of <br />objection from well owners within 600 feet <br />or request a healing before the State <br />Engineer. <br />The proposed operation may have <br />potential impact on existing water rights <br />near the project location.
