Sox 1G87 _
Grand Junction, Colorado 81501 I
Dear Tom:
Bob Lucas, Blue Robinson, and I, of the Highway Department, met with
Bob Darman of 4?hite River Aggregates Company on October 28 to discuss
the location of [he overburden stockpile.
It was decided that due to restrictions of plant area in the bottom
of the old pit and the fact that it is intended to remove a cemented
gravci layer aC a later date, that this stockpile cannot be placed on
the pit floor.
Another location vas decided upon, based upon your recommendation of
not covering the sasebxvsh and staying essentially out of the draw.
The new location is circled on tiie enclosed pit sketch.
Very truly yours,
R.
