Cattany
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
Last month, you and Allen Miller sepazately contacted our office for advise on how to expedite the above
captioned pernut application. Between the two of you, I believe you spoke with Ron Cattany, Jim Dillie,
Cazl Mount, and Suzi Erickson. This project has been handed to me for processing, and I will do
whatever I can to help. Following up on your conversations with me this week, I have enclosed a copy of
the permit application and a letter telling what items aze necessary to complete the application.
Once the items in Ms Erickson's letter of June 8 aze provided, the application will be "filed." At that
point we will review it for technical adequacy. If the application is found to be technically adequate, the
permit would be issued 30 days from the day it was "filed." If not adequate, that 30-day period would be
extended to allow the applicant to respond to our technical adequacy review. If there aze objections from
anyone, the actual date of commencement of the operation could be extended by as much as a month, for
the Mined Land Reclamation Boazd to consider the objections. Hence, the eazliest the permit could be
approved and issued would be 30 days from the date it is found complete and "filed."
Please contact me if you need assistance (303-866-3927). I will be on travel July 12-14, but in the office
most other times. Good luck, and I hope the construction can get under way very soon.
Sincere y,
Harry H.
