As stated in the permit rationale, the mines have ceased operation and the site is being reclaimed. There are no <br />chemicals or materials on the mine sites; which, ifspilled would have a reasonable probability of having a visible or otherwise delrtmenral impact <br />on waters of the State. <br />IV. CHANGES MADE AS A RESULT OF AMENDMENT <br />The requirement of a materials containment plan is being waived because there are no materials being stored on either the Roadside North or <br />South Portal Mines. The compliance requirement for the submittal of a MCP has been removed from this permit. Additionally, some <br />typographical errors were identified and have been corrected. <br />Christopher L.
