Water and
sediment storage are noted in the 4`" quarter reports for each pond and those reports are
certified by a registered professional engineer. Sediment cleanout of the SE and SW
containment basin was noted in the 2ntland 3rtl quarters. The 41h quarter report for Pond 7
indicates sediment levels in the pond are now at the level indicating the pond requires cleanout
of accumulated sediment. Pond 8 reporting indicates sediment cleanout was underway also
which has been verified through field inspection as well.
Refuse Piles
The two reports (RDA and DWP) meet the requirements of Rules 4.09.1(11) and 4.10.2(2).
document in the next quarterly report that maintenance on the riprap downdrains was completed
in the second quarter at the RDA and a rolling compaction test on the DWP was completed in
the 3`d quarter. Necessary rill and gully repair was documented in the 4tl' quarter at the RDA
near the conveyor.
Discharge Monitoring Reports
No discharge other than water transferred from pond 8 to pond 6 was noted. This is consistent
with field inspections conducted by the Division over the reporting period reviewed.
We have no further questions at this time. Please submit future reports to the Division within 30
days following the end of the previous calendar quarter.
