This letter summarizes our findings, <br />and our inspection report is enclosed. <br />The Blue Ribbon Mine is an inactive coal mine. The facility is undergoing reclamation under <br />Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology permit number C-81-047. Wastewater is generated from <br />stormwater control. <br />Wastewater discharges from these facilities aze regulated under CDPS Permit #CO-0033685. There <br />aze three permitted outfalls. <br />• Outfall 001 is a stormwater settling pond that is also known as Pond #5. This outfall has not <br />dischazged in the past 2 years. It is located at 38° 57.28 north, 107° 31.66 west. <br />Outfa11002 is a stortnwater settling pond that is also known as Pond #3. This outfall has not <br />dischazged in the past 2 years. It is located at 38° 57.19 north, 107° 31.60 west. <br />• Outfa11003 is a stormwater settling pond that is also known as Pond #4. This outfall has not <br />discharged in the past 2 years. It is located at 38° 57.14 north, 107° 31.60 west. <br />These facilities are not operated by a Class D industrial wastewater treatment operator, as required by <br />Section 100.6.2 of the Re l;;tz anon.
