Heffner, Supervising Reclamation Specialist
formerly of your staff. In our opinion these documents should be
satisfactory for a recommendation of approval of these two quarries.
Please confirm your positive recommendation in writing to us. We
believe these two applications should be set for hearing at the
earliest opportunity.
To my knowledge the Wildlife evaluation at the Queens Quarry (77-209)
has still not been completed. Until it is I believe the possibilities
discussed at our conference on March 5, 1979, are not solid enough
to present. In any event, it was our understanding that you were
going to provide a final list of questions on the Queens.
The answers to your prior questions have not been lp aced for public
review. Please advise as to your position on this information.
Respe
S ~ GGS
GSB:dlj
Enclosures: Pikeview Information
Snyder Information
cc: Castle Concrete Company
P.O.
