The <br />holes are concentrated in the area of the existing Sanborn Creek <br />Mine Portal and then were spread out to the east along the highway. <br />Apparently they were drilled when U. S. Steel was considering <br />entering the reserve in the area of existing portals. <br />. The date the drill holes were drilled is derived from the enclosed <br />map which is dated 7-11-72. The completion status of the holes (C- <br />1 through C-15) is unknown. <br /> <br />
