Mining operations wi].1 commence on the west side of the proposed <br />mined property. It is contemplated that mining operations will <br />be conducted in ~ northeasterly direction in approximately 10 acre <br />partials with the reclamation activities being conducted as the <br />mining is in progress. <br />Thy operator anticipates mining approximetely 3 to 10 acres per <br />year end the anticipated life of the mining operation is twenty <br />years. <br />The method of mining will be open pit with utilization of <br />front-enf loader, b~ckhos, rocker end screener for processing the <br />gravel. Earth movin¢ equipment include scrapers, front end loader, <br />bulldozers and graders for removal of overburden stockpiling of <br />same and extraction of gravel. Screening plant will be constructed <br />in the area mined end the effected area will be limited to the <br />56.13 acres. The mining operation and screening plant will be <br />constructed as ?oon es permits are obteine~. The screen plant is <br />a move-in portable type and should be operational in a few days. <br />Topsoil and overburden will be stockpiled within the mine arse on <br />the north border and.sovthuest corner of the mini site. Reclamation <br />activities will be conducted cooperatively with mining operations <br />If in the future, the operator desires to add to the operation, an <br />asphaltic hot plant or concrete batch plant, or both, then they will <br />by technical revision, legally request that such a modification to <br />the operating permit be considered. <br />
