Crites,
I have reviewed your latest responses to my second adequacy review, which appear to address the last requirements
of the 1 IO application. I still have a couple questions, which I will list below. Your responses to these items is
required for application approval. Most of the exhibits which appear to have been adequately addressed aze not
commented upon in this letter, except for a fe~v which are included herein for a clean "wrapping up."
ADEQUACY REVIEW
Exhibit D -Reclamation Plan
You have provided a revised seed mix of different grass and forb species to be used in the revegetation. The seed
mix appears adequate, along with the updated seed application rate, plus the mulch and fertilizer applications.
(Note: 1 have revised the estimate of the cost for revegetation, which I explain below.)
Other Items
As stated in prior letters, this letter and attachment and your upcoming responses all need to be filed as additional
material at the clerk and recorder's office. Please provide proof of such additional filing. (I have received the
receipt for the 5/6/99 additional filing.)
RECLAMATION COST ESTIMATE
Also attached to this letter is a revised reclamation cost estimate for task #5, the revegetation. The total reclamation
cost estimate, as I informed you last week, is $7,917.00, an amount you stated is agreeable to you. I have
recalculated the revegetation task based on the updated materials you sent me this week. You will note in the
attached revision (task #5 r) that there is only a few dollars difference, for which eve may either reduce the required
total to $7,900.00, or leavelthe total as it originally stands. Whichever you decide, let me know.
If you or your warrantor have questions about any particular type of bond or its form, please contact Ms. Suzi
Ericksen at our Denver office (see letterhead). These must all be received and approved by our Denver office before a pemtit is issued.
If you have questions, please contact me at the Division's Durango field office: 484 Tumer Dr., Bldg.
