The inspections were
performed by qualified inspectors under my supervision.
The inspections were conducted during mid October, approximately four weeks after the IOU year storm
events of September 18-19. Subsequent to the inspections additional impoundment maintenance and
repairs have been completed. By the end of the quarter four ponds had been cleaned of sediment (Oak
#l, East Pyeatt #1, East Pyeatt #2 and No Name #2) and erosion damage was repaired on the spillway
outfalls of Oak #2, Grouse #1 and the headcut in the spillway outfall of East Pyeatt #l. The repairs and
maintenance performed on Trapper's drainage and sediment wntrol systems during the fourth quarter of
1997 should allow flows from spring runoff to pass without incident.
Call if you need any additional information.
Sincerely,
~~
James M.
