Listed below aze the additional items and information we are requesting in order to complete our
adequacy review on the Beedle Quarry, New 110(c) Application, Permit No. M-2007-003. The
Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (Division) is required to make an approval or
denial decision no later than Mazch 19, 2007, therefore, your response to the following adequacy
review concerns should be submitted to the Division as soon as possible. Your response should
include two (2) copies. Any public comments that we receive on your application during the
interim will be forwazded to you.
1. As required by Rule 1.6.2 (1)(g), please submit the proof of publication of the public
notice circulated in the local newspaper as soon as possible.
2. Rule 6.2.1(2) requires that maps be signed by a registered land surveyor, professional
engineer, or other qualified person. The maps submitted to the Division were not signed.
Please resubmit a signed copy of the maps.

3. Number 10 on page 3 of the application indicates that the site is located in the NE quarter
of the SE quarter of Section 2, but all other descriptions of the site location state that this
site is in the SE quarter of the NE quarter of Section 2. Please revise either the application
or other documents to reflect the correct location of the site.
Rule 6.3.3 Exhibit C-Mining Plan
4. Please explain how this operation will not intercept ground water as is stated in the
proposed mine plan (6.3.3(1)) given the following information provided by the applicant:
a. Section 6.3.3(b) estimates the minimum depth of topsoil to be salvaged to be
twelve inches.
