Subsoil excavation will not occur until the sediment
pond construction is complete and the cleanwater diversion channels are
complete.
3)
Earthwork construction will occur at rapid rate to which small thunder-
storms should produce no runoff or sediment loss. If on the event that
precipitation occurs to an extent at which sediment loss would occur or
construction is ceased, a drainage ditch extending from the sediment pond
to the south side of the mine bench would be constructed immediately.
4)
Topsoil placement of 4' depths on the outslope fill will be performed.
Sequencing will require approximately a 10' - 20' vertical depth of fill
to be developed, at which time 4 feet of topsoil will be placed to cover
the outslope. Mine bench fill will be then built up to approximately
another 10' - 20' height, topsoil will then be placed on the outslope, etc.
Revegetation, mulching and erosion control consisting of mats and silt
fences will be completed behind each topsoil placement interval.
5)
During earthwork construction, topsoil will be removed from the temporary
topsoil pile on both the east and west ends and placed on the outslope
R
fill so as to remain off subsoil excavation areas.
6)
Approximate topsoil pile yardages:
Nov 0
Topsoil Starage Pile - 11,200 cubic yards
Temporary Topsoil Pile - 20,700 cubic yards"M"'
^,- U
.
O.V.W.M.
