Dear Mr. Keffelew:
Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Company ("CC&V") submits herein a summary of water used from
Ponds No. 4A, No. 4C and No. 6 for dust suppression and the location(s) of use. All water has been used
on the mine roads and on the valley leach facility ("VLF') roads within the permit boundary,
This report covers the period from October 1, 2003 through December 31, 2003. Pond No. 4A usage was
373,000 gallons. There was no water used from Pond No. 4C or Pond No. 6 during the fourth quarter.
Water purchased from the City of Victor was also used to supplement this dust suppression effort.
