Dear Mr. Cowman:
On August 1, 2007, the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety received Twentymile Coal
Company's responses to our adequacy review letter of July 24, 2007. We provide the following
responses.
Twentymile Coal Company's response and revised map is adequate. Please let us know if you
agree with our $12,964 reclamation cost estimate amount. If so, you may proceed with submittal
of a performance bond in that amount.

4. In response to this question, Twentymile Coal Company provided copies of pages from its DRMS
Foide] Creek mine permit pertaining to the relationship between Cyprus Western Coal Company
(the entity to which the State lease is issued) and Twentymile Coal Company. These permit pages
were, however, out of date. We have printed out the correct pages from the permit on file in our
office, and placed them in the NOI file. This item has been resolved.
