<br />iii iiiiiiiii <br />Formal Public Hearing <br />Adams County RV Park, LLC, dba 124`a Estates Partners <br />124`h Estates Sand & Gravel, File No. M-2001-085 New 112 Application <br />Consideration of the Division's Recommendation for Approval of the Application <br />Over Objections <br />File No.: M-2001-085 <br />Applicant: Adams County RV Park, LLC, dba 124'" Estates Partners <br />Site Name: 124'" Estates Sand & Gravel <br />Location: The property is located in a portion of Section 35 of Township 1 South, Range 67 West of the Sixth <br />Principal Meridian. <br />Filing: August 13, 2001- Application complete for purposes of filing <br />October 26, 2001- Informal Conference <br />November 13, 2001- Division recommendation of approval. <br />November 28, 2001- Pre-hearing Conference <br />December 12-13, 2001- MLRB Hearing <br />Permit Area: The permit area is 34.30 acres in size and will remine an historical site. <br />The applicant proposes to recover 750,000 tons of sand and gravel over a two year period from the historic mine site. <br />Eight to 14 feet of residual deposit will be removed before encountering bedrock. The site will be dry mined and <br />water will be directly discharged into the Henderson Water Ski Pond. Mined material will be transported directly <br />from [he site or it will be screened and then transported off site. The postmining land use will be a lined water <br />storage reservoir approximately 1,000 acre-feet in size. The pit will be lined with native clay material taken from the <br />underlying siraia and seined itnes from iite washing operations. The reservoir will eventually be conveyed to the <br />City of Brighton. <br />II.
