This
certification and the general permit have been administratively extended and
are still valid, as a renewal application was received on December 1, 2006.
It will likely remain on the administratively extended list until the
general permit itself is rewritten and reissued. The permit number
you referenced is considered an industrial process water discharge permit
number and Andrew would be the contact for those permits. Andrew can you
please respond or send to whom is handling this one. My office is
pursuing an enforcement action under our Rules against the mine operator
regarding a drainage ditch and we may need to say what the status of the
CDPS permit is in a board hearing in early December. Apparently an
application for renewal of the permit was filed with your office in 2006,
but we do not know if the permit was renewed or is still being reviewed.
