During the month of June 2004, DMP 004 and DMP 007
did not exceed any compliance criteria. Due to an oversight in the new discharge permit
requirements, the quarterly Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) samples were not collected for DMP
004 and DMP 007. The oversight has been brought to the attention of the field personnel.
DMP 004 and DMP 007 failed the Pimephales promelas but passed the Ceriodaphnia
dubia chronic Whole Effluent Toxicity (WET) test for the second quarter of 2004. P&M has
initiated accelerated WET testing of DMP 004 and DMP 007 in compliance with the CDPS
Permit. This letter is written notification of the chronic WET test failure and that accelerated
WET testing will be performed.
Please contact me at (307) 742-0031 with any questions or comments you have regarding
this matter. ~
SL:gh
Enclosures
File: 99-144
Project Engineer
