The following is our response to
Fine Navmal Suit Buildng/RVVer our individual items:
(]0))))5.6339 y
(wand Jurcuon OIGCe
(30J)7c8~)148 1) We have changed the wording of these parts of the Rationale as
per your letter.
2) We have changed the wording of this section to indicate that
other methods of pH control are possible. However, such changes
must be approved by the Division via a permit amendment prior to
their use.
3) These discharges were deleted from coverage under the storm event
exemption by mistake. We have changed the wording of this part
of the Rationale (as well as the corresponding part of the
permit) to include these discharge points under the exemption.
4) A minimum of four quarters of WET testing are required before you
can apply for the waiver, regardless of the spacing of the
tests. If discharge took place only during one quarter of the
year, then it would indeed be four years before you could apply.
5) Once the permit is issued, you should review your Spill Plan for
any needed revisions. If none are needed, a letter to this
effect will satisfy the permit requirements.
6) We have changed the wording of this part of the Rationale as per
your letter.
7) Thank you for the seep flow volume data. Note that the data will
also be required on an on-going basis.
~~ pnwdon rrrye4dppn
