McCall, Administrator
Mined Land Reclamation
723 Centennial Building
1313 Sherman Street
Denver, Colorado 80203
Dear Mr. McCall:
In response to your letter of February 27, 1978, requesting additional
information on county limited impact operations applications, I hope
the following will be what you require.
1. Progress Report
On December 16, 1977, two (2) copies of five (5) Limited Impact
Permit Application forms were mailed to the M.L.R.B. At that
time, Saguache County had only those five gravel pits in operation
and their names are as follows; Airport Pit, Cooper Pit, Drawe Pit,
Mirage Pit and Woodard Pit. To the best of my knowledge, those
Permit Applications were complete as mailed.
Since the filing of the above five (5) permit applications, Saguache
County has acquired an additional pit, the Robert Smythe Pit:. A
copy of the permit application accompanies this letter.
Currently then, Saguache County has six (6) and only six permit
requests.
2. Time table
Five existing pit permit forms were mailed to the M.L.R.B. on
December 16, 1977. O_ne new pit permit mailed with this letter
on March 7, 1978.
3. List of questions or problems
None.
Sincerely,
Mark Daily
MD/llc
enc: 2 copies Robert Smythe Limited Impact Permit Application-I'or~ns
