As shown on map, Exhibit F, by shaded area the present surface disturbance
consists of a portal site with buildings, cribbing, power lines., ore dumps,
waste dumps, and access roads. The older areas as marked consi~;t of access
roads to ventilation sites and a proposed retention pond. The ventilation
sites are comprised of cut-out areas with a concrete slab with mounted fan.
Future disturbances are expected to be minimal with some requirE~ments for
ventilation sites and access roads at sites not yet selected.
Revegetation:
A. Areas to be revegetated: All areas having a topsoil soil which should
comprise most of the areas shown on the map except for some small areas
composed of bedrock and large boulders. Areas to be revegetated:
1. Portal site and facilities
2. Access roads
3. Ventilation sites
4. Retention ponds
B. All areas to be revegetated will be seeded and prepared as described
in the reclamation plan, except the seed mixture is to be amended to
read as follows:
Sand Dropseed
Crested Wheatgrass
Western Wheatgrass
Fourwing Saltbush
Indian Ricegrass
Yellow Sweetclover

The Sunday Mine site is located in the south wall of Big Gypsum Valley.
Most of the site is located on steeply sloping (20-40%) shale outcrops
that blend into a gentle slope and valley floor. Grading of the surface
disturbances will be done so as to conform with the existing topography
with final slopes of 0-40%.
IV. Ponds:
The retention ponds will be built to take advantage of the rough terrain,
utilizing draws, depressions, etc. The ponds will be removed at the close
of mining unless the BLM requests they remain for natural water impoundment.
V. Topsoil:
Topsoil has not been salvaged as this is an existing operation.
