Covey: <br />Pursuant to Rule 2.34 of the Rules and Regulations, enclosed is a copy of a <br />protes~: filed by Ms. Stephanie Thompson pertaining to the above referenced <br />operation. <br />Concerns about local zoning codes, including regulations on noise, traffic, <br />and aesthetics, are issues that fall under the jurisdiction of the Boulder <br />County government and as such are not addressed by the State. Compliance with <br />local zoning is required at the County level, but is not a prerequisite for <br />State permit issuance. I have passed along a copy of this objection and this <br />letter to Don Welch, Boulder County Land Use Department, P.O. Box 471, <br />Boulder, 80306 for his review. Questions regarding local land use regulation <br />should be addressed to him. <br />I encourage you to contact the protestant to assure her of your compliance <br />with both State and Local Land use regulations.
