Caltany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology (Division) has reviewed the final summary sediment <br />pond certification by Greg Lewicki and Associates for the Rimrock mine. <br />The report complies with the requirements of Rule 4.05.6(13) for inspection of sediment ponds <br />at coal mining sites. This single pond is approved to remain as a permanent impoundment <br />following final approval of the pending Phase II/III bond release (SL-02) at the site. The <br />observations and color photographs in the report document conditions as observed and <br />reported by Division inspectors over the years. We concur with the observations as noted. <br />We have no questions regarding the report. This is the final pond inspection report for the <br />Rimrock mine.
