Box 4362 <br />Pagosa Springs, CO 81147 <br />Re: File No. M-88-057, Canyon Sand & Gravel, Complete Application <br />Dear Mr. Scott: <br />We have received your application fora Mining & Reclamation Permit for your <br />surface mining operation in Archuleta County. Our initial review indicates <br />that all preliminary items required by the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation <br />Act, C.R.S. 34-32-101, et seq., have been submitted; thus your application has <br />heen deemed complete. AT1 comment and review time periods initiate from this <br />date. <br />The tentative date for consideration of your application by the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board is June 23-24, 1988. You should commence publication of a <br />notice of the filing of this application immediately (see enclosed notice <br />format). You must also mail a copy of the notice to all owners of record of <br />surface rights of affected land and immediately adjacent land. You must <br />provide proof of the notice and mailing, such as Certified Mail Peturn Receipt <br />Requested, to the MLR staff before your application can be considered by the <br />Board. You must also place a copy of this application for public review, less <br />confidential items, with the Archuleta County Clerk and Recorder. Any <br />subsequent changes or additions to the copies en file in our offices must also <br />be made in this local government copy. <br />THE STAFF IS REVIEWING YOUR APPLICATION TO DETERMINE WHETHER IT IS ADEQUATE TO <br />MEET THE P,EQUIREMENTS OF THE LAW.
