DANIELSON, DEPUTY STATE ENGINEER
SUBJECT: DFC CERAMICS, JEFFERSON COUNTY, APPLICATION FOR MINING
AND RECLAMATION PERMIT
As requested by your office, we have reviewed the application for a clay
pit north of Golden, Although a discussion of water resources was omitted
from the application, we anticipate little effect on water resources by the
proposed operations unless water is needed for the following:
1 . Will water be required for dust control on haul roads,
conveyors, or crushing equipment? If so, what are
the source and water rights to be used for this purpose?
2, Will re vegetated areas need irrigation? If so, what is
the source for this use of water?
~ ~ .
is A, Danielson
JAD/SSH:mvf
cc: W. G. Wilkinson, Div. 1 Engr,
