The tailing impoundment collection pond urrderdrain flow was pumped intermittently during the
month to minimize the collection pond level. The leak detection system was measured on March
29m. The March tailings pond underdrain flow average was 46.44 gpm and a total of 630 gallons
of water was excavated from the leak detection system yielding a monthly average of 21.72 gpad.
During March the W Pit water treatment plant operated efficiently discharging a total of
8,465,700 gallons (25.98 acre-feet) of water to Rito Seco Creek and a total of 1,027,600 gallons
(3. i 5 acre-fcet) of water was transferred from the water treatmenrt plant to the tailings
impoundment. Seepage along Rito Seco Creek remained dry during the month.
