<br />Dear Party and/orlnterested Person:
<br />The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology IDMG) has received written objections to the Line
<br />Camp Pit application.
<br />Pursuant to Rule 1.7.4, of the Construction Material Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined
<br />Land Reclamation Board IRulel, DMG has scheduled the application for Formal Public Hearing
<br />before the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board (Board) for consideration of the application.
<br />The hearing has been scheduled for the April 25-26, 2001 , Board meeting, at 1313 Sherman
<br />Street, Room 318, Denver, Colorado.
<br />Pursuant to Rule 2.7.1, DMG has tentatively scheduled aPre-hearing Conference for April 17,
<br />2001. The purpose of the Pre-hearing Conference is to identify the parties for the hearing and to
<br />identify the issues to be considered by the Board at the hearing. The Pre-hearing Conference is
<br />scheduled to occur at the Dolores Town Hall, 420 Central Avenus, Dolores, Colorado,
<br />commencing at 2:00 p.m. If re-scheduling of the Pre-hearing Conference should prove necessary,
<br />DMG will inform the parties of the re-scheduled conference.
<br />Pursuant to Rule 1 .7.4 and 1 .4.6, DMG has scheduled an Informal Conference for March 15,
<br />2001. Rule 1.4.6(2) states, At the /nforma/ Conference, each person objecting to the approval of
<br />the application shall set forth the grounds for the objection. Similarly, the Applicant, and any
<br />other person supporting the issuance of the application, shall present the grounds necessary to
<br />support the issuance of the app/ication. The Informal Conference is scheduled to occur at the
<br />Dolores Town Hall, 420 Central Avenue, Dolores, Colorado, commencing at 12:00 noon.
