Application for a Class I, Non-hazardous <br />Disposal Well Permit, Getty # 1-7LW: 0010932- <br />04664; NE NE Sec. 7 - T8S - R97W, 6's PM <br />Garfield County, Colorado <br />Deaz Mr.Yates: <br />The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has reviewed the contents of the referenced <br />UIC Permit application for the Getty # 1-7LW that was received on December 14, 2001. As a <br />result of the review, we requested additional technical and administrative information to <br />complete the application. Additional geologic information was received on January 31, 2002, <br />the financial responsibility information was received on February 4, 2001, and the amended <br />application form was received on February 7, 2002. <br />After reviewing all of the submitted information, we have determined that the application <br />is both administratively and technically complete. We aze presently in the process of preparing a <br />Draft Permit and Statement of Basis. The draft should be completed shortly. Upon completion, <br />the Draft Permit for the Getty # 1-7LW non-hazazdous Class I disposal well will be public <br />noticed with a 30 day comment period. The Public Notice will be published in two local <br />newspapers (the Rifle Citizen Telegram and the Glenwood Post) and will provide for an <br />opportunity to request a Public Hearing. <br />~Pnnted on Recycled Paper <br />
