DMG has received written objections to the Delta Paving Gravel Pit application.
Pursuant to Rule 1.7.4, of the Construction Materials Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined
Land Reclamation Board (Rule), DMG has scheduled the application for Formal Public Hearing before
the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board (Board(, for consideration of application. The hearing
has been scheduled for the April 28-29, 1999 Board meeting at 1313 Sherman Street, Room 318,
Denver, Colorado.
Pursuant to Rule 2.7.1, DMG has tentatively scheduled aPre-Hearing Conference for April 15, 1999.
Purpose of the Pre-Hearing Conference is to identify the parties for the hearing and to identify the
issues to be considered by the Board at the hearing. Pre-Hearing Conference is scheduled to occur at
the Delta County Courthouse, 501 Palmer Street, Room 234, Delta, Colorado, commencing at 1:00
p.m. If re-scheduling of the Pre-Hearing Conference should prove necessary, DMG will inform the
parties of the re-scheduled conference.
Pursuant to Rule 1.7.4 and 1.4.6, DMG has scheduled an Informal Conference for March 12, 1999.
Rule 1.4.6(2) states, At the /nforma/ Conference, each person objecting to the approval of the
application sha// set forth the grounds for the objection. Similarly, the Applicant, and any other
person supporting the issuance of the application, shall present the grounds necessary to support the
issuance of the app/ication. Informal Conference is scheduled to occur at the Delta County
Courthouse, 501 Palmer Street, Room 234, Delta, Colorado, commencing at 10:00 a.m.
