The assistance of Ron Thompson was very helpful and greatly appreciated. A copy of the
inspection report has been attached for your records.
Violations:
1. No violations were noted.
Perutit Issues•
These items may assist the Division during the next dischazge permit renewal or to provide clarification
for an amendment to the current permit. During the inspection, we observed the following facility
conditions that aze not accurately represented in the permit:
2. The coal processing facility has been closed down and the site is currently being reclaimed.
3. During the spring of 2003, reclamation efforts were started on the runoff sedimentation pond for
Outfa11005. The discharge structure has been removed since the pond has been filled in, the site
graded, and seeds planted. The seeds had germinated and vegetative cover was establishing
itself over the azea. Thus, this dischazge point is inactive.
4. Since the mine closed, the domestic mechanical WWTF for Outfa11033 has been removed from
service and the discharge point has been inactive.
