Cottony <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division has reviewed Trapper Mining Int.'s Third Quarter 2003 Sediment Pond Inspection reports. <br />TMI's second quarter 2003 sediment pond reports were received by the Division, on October 3, 2003. <br />Timely submittal of these reports is incompliance with Rule 4.05.9(17). Sediment pond inspections <br />were conducted by TMI between September 28, 2003 to September 30, 2003 <br />TMI has conducted maintenance on ponds reported in the second quarter reports as needing cleaning or <br />embaFltarlent repairs. The industrial waste pond was identified as needing clean out and boom <br />replacement in the DMG's September 24, 2003 inspection. TMI has scheduled sediment cleaning of <br />this pond for October 2003. During third quarter 2003 sediment was cleaned from ponds No Name #2, <br />No Name #4, East Flume #1 and from the channel of Ute #1. Four ponds were reclaimed and three aze <br />in the process of being permitted as permanent ponds.
