Wyoming Fuel Company had agreed to complete this <br />cleanup prior to discharging mine water from this structure. <br />Y7yoming Fuel Company first attempted to remove the delta with a <br />front end loader. We were unsuccessful as the loader got stuck. <br />S~7yoming Fuel Company contracted a small dragline and removed <br />approximately eighty percent (808) of the delta over sixty <br />percent (60%) of the area. The dragline could not reach all <br />sediment . <br />Wyoming Fu e1 Company has installed baffles in pond 003 to <br />increase mine water residence time and will be installing a <br />Steven's F-Type continuous recorder on the outfall to measure <br />flows. <br />W e will begin discharge and monitoring without treatment <br />(Phase I of the demonstration project), within the next week. <br />Very truly~yo , <br />,% l~ <br />David M.
