I am writing to address the items that remain following your fax and our discussion of your reclamation
permit application.
Rule 1.4.2(2.5) Proof of Notice: We still require proof of: publication in the local newspaper.
Rule 1.6.2(1)(e)Notification of Adjacent Landowners. Please note that the Division requires proof
of notification of landowners within 200 feet of the affected lands. There appears to be a landowner
northeast of your proposed operation, east of the Bad Boys of Cripple Creek. Please show this
landowner on [he surface owner map and provide proof of notice for all surface owners within 200
feet.
Exhibit C Minine Plan (Rule 6.3.3(1)(b)): This item has been adequately covered.

4.3 Tvues of Financial Security (Bond): We will accept a bond for this permit area in the amount
of $1,000.00, which may be in any of the forms shown in Section 4.3 of the Rules.
Exhibit E Map (Rule 6.3.5(3)(a)): This item has been adequately covered.
Regarding our discussion about releasing the bond for [he exploration permit for this property, P-1999-001
relative to the bond for this permit. The two items must be pursued separately, as we are unable to transfer the
bond from one permit to the other. Therefore, please supply the bond for this permit, and in a separate letter
referencing the exploration permit, P-99-001, request the release of the bond for the exploration pemut and
indicate that the exploration permit is being replaced by the mining permit.
