CO 80222-1530 <br />RE: Quarterly Discharge Monitoring Report for Permit CO-0000221 <br />Dear Sir or Madam: <br />Pursuant to the quarterly reporting requirements contained in <br />Colorado Discharge Permit CO-0000221 for the Seneca Mine Complex, <br />enclosed find the third quarter 2000 discharge monitoring reports <br />for Sites 002 to 006 and 008 to 017. In this quarter, <br />intermittent discharges were observed at Points 002, 005, 006, <br />010, and 015; no discharges were noted at Points 009 and 011. <br />Points 013, 014, and 017 have not been constructed yet. <br />Construction of Pond 016 was completed in September. No flow has <br />yet been noted at this site. <br />No effluent limits were exceeded this quarter.
