Wells GW-
S35WC, GW-S37WC, and GW-S37WC0 are located at the Seneca II Mine
(Permit C-80-005). These wells were abandoned since they are
located along the final highwall of the Wolf Creek pit and will
have the upper portions of their casings destroyed during final
highwall reduction. Well GW-S2W-7A1 is located the Seneca IIW
Mine (Permit C-82-057). Well YSAL13 is located at the Yoast Mine
(Permit C-94-082). These two alluvial observation wells were
abandoned since they are both located in pastures and have been
damaged by farm equipment. Both of these two alluvial wells have
adjacent wells located nearby that will continue to be monitored.
Sincerely,
~~
Dennis Jone
Hydrologist I
Enclosures
Seneca Coal Company P.O.
