DANIELSON, DEPUTY STATE ENGINEER <br />COTTER CORPORATION - SCHWARTZWALDER MINE, JEFFERSON COUNTY, APPLICATION <br />FOR MINING AND RECLAMATION PERMIT <br />As requested by your office, we have reviewed the additional information <br />provided by Mr. Tim Smith of Cotter Corporation in a letter dated January 25, <br />1978. The data, which are included in the appendix to the letter, confirm the <br />applicant's estimate of 1/3 acre-foot of mine water consumed annually in the <br />ore washing operation. Based on this determination, we recommend approval <br />of the application. We suggest that the applicant have the Water Court <br />adjudicate the use as non-consumptive. <br />~. <br />ris A.
