On page 4 of the application loan the applicant specifies use orstorage o/ thn following items <br />within the permit area: 55 gallon drums o/anti/reeze, Hydraulic oil, engine oil, and e!he: lubricants: a <br />10,000 gallon tank o/diesel fuel; and a 1,000 gallon tank o/gasoline. In conformance with Rule <br />3.16(1), grease provide a storagelcontainment plan which specifies primary and secondary <br />containment measures to be employed to assure that disturbances to surlace water and <br />groundwater in the affected land and surrounding area will be minimized. The storagelcontainment <br />plan will need to include a description of the containrnenf measures to be employed, a commitment <br />to install such measures prior to storage of chemicals on site, a map showing the location of the <br />storage area (must be outside the f00•year Roodplain of the South Platte RiverJ• and a <br />representative cross section of the secondary containment system(s) to be installed. <br />Petroleum ;>roducts, antifreeze, used oil and other similar products related to operation of the facilities will <br />be stored at the concrete and asphalt batch plant(s) and within the processing area <br />Stora elContainment Plan <br />a'V!:en requued by the Division of Oil and Public Safety or the US EPA regulations, the site will have a Spill <br />Prevernron, Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plan that is written and approved by a registered <br />processional engineer A copy of the SPCC Plan for the facility vnll be submitted to the Division upon <br />request <br />Pnma.ry Containment <br />The products used for tacilily operation wilt be stored at the concrete and asphalt batch plant(s), and the <br />processing area identified on the encbsed Mining Plan Map These areas are outside the 100•year <br />Ooodplain of the South Platte River.
