Memo
Ta Trapper Mine, C- 10, Hydrology File
From: Janet Binns
Date: 12/01/2004
Re: June 2004 NPDS DMR
I contacted Mr. Frank Self of Trapper Mining Inc. regarding a submittal of a June 2004 DMR for NPDES permit CO-0032115.
TMI submits Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs) on a quarterly basis based upon Colorado Department of Public Health
and Environment pennit CO-0032115. TMI submitted a DMR for June 2004. Since TMI had submitted the required 2ntl
quarter DMRs as descdbed in their discharge permit, I was unsure why an additional June report had been submitted
I looked at the CDPH&E NPDES permit, CO-0032115, but it stated that reports were to be submitted on a quartedy basis.
Frank confirmed that the DMRs are required to be submitted on a quarterly basis. Trappers CDPH&E permit CO-0032115
was renewed on June 1.2004. The
State Health Department sent Trapper DMR forms for the month of June instead of for the entire second quarter, April, May
and June. So, TMI completed the individual fonn for June, as well as the quartedy form for second quarter 2004. The
renewed permit CO-0032115 required DMRs on a quartedy basis. Outfall 002 no longer has a WET test requirement.
