- III Illillllllllllll
rr 999
C~L~iD CORE LABORATORIES
SAMPLE DELIVERY GROUP NARRATIVE
October 23, 1997
Customer: Greystone
Project: COSTILLA
Core Laboratories Project Number: 972391
As requested by the client, the remainder of sample 972391-2 was re-extracted outside of
holding time to confirm original detections for aldrin and alpha-BHC. The re-extracted
sample was analyzed and did not show detections for any pesticides. The analyst was
instructed to retrieve the original extract for reanalysis. This extract had undergone some
evaporation and the extract was re-diluted back to approximately one ml. The results and
surrogate recoveries of this reanalysis were not identical to the original results which can
be attributed to the approximate re-dilution of the evaporated extract. However, the
same compounds that were originally reported were detected in the reanalysis.
Kathy IC]ausmeier Linda L.
