Dept. of Natural Reso!~rce~
The following is in response to your unanswered questions stipulated in
your December 22, 1981 correspondance.
Mr. and Mrs. Lee Hancock have been notified by certified mail and return
receipt is enclosed. The last publication is December 28, 1981 and proof of
publication is enclosed.
EXHIBITS C & F:
The final contours are at 10 foot intervals which do not indicate minor
differences in elavation on such a small area. We do, however, plan to leave
the pit area as flat as practical except for a few ponding areas as recommended
by the Division of Wildlife. The exact slope of the finished pit area is not
known at this time due to the fact that the underlying limestone slopes are
unknown. It should be noted, though, that a gentle slope, 1-3 percent, will be
provided to maintain proper surface drainage.
RXHTRTT T)~
If topsoil is to be undisturbed for more than one year it will be stabilized
with a perennial grass cover as per your suggestion.
F.XHTRTT R~
Topsoil to Leclaim the site will be provided by Otero County be it 10,000 yards3
or 200,000 yards.i.
The planting mixture is to be altered by the addition of sand dropseed and
yellow sweetclover as per your suggestion.
RXHTRTT C:~
No water is to be utilized at this site for dust control.
