On 7/18/96, DMG issued RTB for failure to submit an EPP within the <br /> extended statutory deadline. On 7/15/96, DMG received response from the operator to <br /> previous DMG adequacy letters for TR-04, EPP. Please find enclosed, copy of the <br /> operator's response, submitted 7/15/96. <br /> Even though DMG review period for TR-04, closed on 7/12/96, DMG reviewed the <br /> 7/15/96 submittal and generated a fourth adequacy letter on 7/29/96. Please find <br /> enclosed, copy of DMG 7/29/96 adequacy letter. <br /> On 7/17/96, DMG inspected the Howardsville Mill and observed numerous PVs, all <br /> relating to hydrologic impact. Please find enclosed, copy of DMG 7/17/96 inspection <br /> report. On 7/23/96, DMG issued RTB for failure to minimize hydrologic impact. <br /> The 7/15/96 submittal contains response to your memo dated 12/7/95, addressing <br /> hydrologic monitoring for the Howardsville Mill. Please review the enclosed response <br /> from the operator, and provide comment upon the geochemical and hydrologic issues. <br /> Specifically, please comment upon the operator's request to utilize the analytical <br /> detection limits stated in EPA 600/4-79-020, "Methods for Chemical Analysis of Water <br /> and Wastes", 1983, and "Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Waste <br /> Water", 19th ad., 1995, for analysis of hydrologic monitoring samples. <br /> DMG has scheduled both RTBs for the 8/28/96 - 8/29/96 Board meeting.
