Doc Date:12/11/2001 III I II I II I II IIII III <br />sss <br />i (/~' 4.02 SIGNS AND MARKERS <br />4.02.1 SPECIFICATIONS <br />EFCI will post and maintain all signs and markers required by Section <br />4.02. All signs will be of uniform design and will be placed so as to be <br />readily seen and read. The signs will be made of durable material capable <br />of withstanding the snow and cold weather typical of the permit area. All <br />signs will conform with local ordinances and codes. <br />4.02.2 MINE AND PERMIT IDENTIFICATION SIGNS <br />Appropriate signs identifying the Southfield mine and loadout areas will <br />be displayed at all points of public access. These signs will indicate <br />the EFCI company name, business address, telephone number, and the <br />identification number of the current mining and reclamation permit. <br />Identification signs will be maintained until all disturbed areas have <br />been released from bond. <br />4.02.3 PERIMETER MARKERS <br />The perimeter of all areas affected by surface operations or facilities, <br />will be clearly marked. Perimeter markers will be maintained throughout <br />the life of the operation. <br />4.02.4 DURATION OF MAINTENANCE <br />EFCI will maintain signs and markers throughout the period of active <br />operation to the point of bond release. Signs and markers will be <br />maintained and/or replaced as necessary. <br />4.02.5 STREAM BUFFER ZONE MARKERS <br />No stream channels requiring buffer zones as defined under Section 4.05.18 <br />exist within the permit area. Therefore, the provisions of this section <br />are not applicable. <br />4.02-1 <br />
