Winkler Light <br />Aggregate Quarry, File No. M-89-065 <br />Dear Sir or Madam: <br />On February 19, 1991, Centennial Materials, Inc. posted with the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Division financial warranty for the Winkler Light Aggregate Quarry <br />Reclamation Permit Application. The Winkler Light Aggregate Quarry <br />Application was approved by the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board on <br />August 24, 1989 and transferred from Hallett Materials to Centennial <br />Materials, Inc. on April 16, 1991. The amount of financial warranty submitted <br />by Centennial Materials, Inc. is 5295,850. <br />Rule 7,2(2) of the Board's Mineral Rules and Regulations states: <br />"No permit may be issued pursuant to the Act until the Board or Division <br />receives the Performance and/or Financial Warranties required herein, If <br />these warranties are not received within one calendar year of approval of <br />an application for any new permit, amendment, or conversion, the Board <br />shall hold a hearing to reconsider the previous approval." <br />The Mined Land Reclamation Division has therefore placed Centennial Materials, <br />Inc. and this application on the Mined Land Reclamation Board meeting agenda <br />for reconsideration of application approval. This meeting is scheduled for <br />April 24-25, 1991, in Room 318 of 1313 Sherman Street, Denver Colorado, <br />commencing at 8:30 a.m. each day. This matter will be heard during a Formal <br />Public Hearing as soon after commencement as possible.
