Erickson
Environmental Protection Specialist
Dear Mr. Erickson,
The hydrologic monitoring plan set forth at paragraphs numbered 1 and 3 of
your May 12, 1997 letter of Unresolved Issues and involving accumulation of
surface and groundwater data is agreeable with us with the following changes:
1 . After sampling and analysis for the first five consecutive
quarters to establish a sampling base line, the location and
frequency of sampling may be modified to achieve the most
efficient and effective means of gathering necessary data
without going through the Technical Revision process.
2. The list of parameters set forth in the May 12, 1997
directive is agreeable for establishing base line data,
however, any parameters not appearing in any analysis during
the five consecutive data gathering quarters will be
stricken from the list without necessity of a Technical
Revision.
It is my understanding that the enclosed together with your correspondence
will be sufficient to satisfy this issue. The entire hydrologic monitoring plan
will be assimilated when drafting the final, approved EPP.
Respectfully submitted,
Rere 'ver
JS:as
