The adequacy concerns were discussed after your on- <br />site visit and corrections have been made to these concerns. <br />PAGE 2 OF APPLICATION: At present, the mined site is zoned agriculture, but <br />post-mining land use will be re-zoned as industrial/commercial. <br />EXHIBIT C, Section (b): The 3 inches of topsoil at the site will be salvaged and <br />stockpiled on site. <br />EXHIBIT C, Section (i) (I): Concerning prevention of erosion and runoff on the <br />site, runoff control structures will be used, such as ditch liner, flexible pipe and hay <br />check dam. <br />EXHIBIT D, Section (c) (iv): On slopes too steep to drill, the seeding rate will be <br />doubled and broadcasted. <br />NOTICES TO ADJACENT PROPERTY OWNERS: Copies of Certified mailing <br />receipt and green cards to CDOT are enclosed. <br />The electrical fence near the pit site is owned by Quinlan Farms and Ranches Inc., <br />The owner is not using the fence at this time and he also stated they might be <br />removing the fence. See attached letter. <br />
