Dudash, Joe
From: Dudash, Joe
Sent: Friday, January 14, 2005 12:49 PM
To: 'Robert Major'
Cc: Brown, Sandy
Subject: RE: Bowie No. 2
I just faxed to you the two Division inspection reports written since our October joint
field inspection. As stated in the two inspection reports, when I was out there on site,
pond water levels were near the elevations of the primary spillways or being lowered to
those levels. Also, in December, there was a lot of snow on the ground which would make
ditch and pond cleaning somewhat difficult. Finally, some of the work on Pond F (eastern-
most pond) can not be done until the Colorado Health Department NPDES permit is amended. I
am going into the field next week so I will talk with Bowie about these concerns.
-----Original Message-----
From: Robert Major [mailto:bmajor@uc.usbr.gov]
Sent: Friday, January 14, 2005 11:00 AM
To: joe.dudash@state.co.us
Subject: Re: Bowie No. 2
Hi Joe
I was wondering if you could send me a copy of your last inspection
reports since the site visit we made back at the end of Oct. I believe
when we talked just prior to that letter you send earlier this month,
that you had been out there twice at that time.
I just got a call today from the Fire Mountian Canal & Res Co and they
just had their annual meeting last night and there was concerns that
they had not seen anything definite being done. Apparently the mine has
installed some temporary stuff to get their discharge water across the
Fire Mountian Ca na1 (I haven't seen it so whatever is set up there I
don't really know what it is from their discription) but they were
wondering what may happen by start of irrigation. Apparently they have
had a lot of rain in the last few days (5-7") and they are concerned
that the ponds may overflow or some such.
Anyway if you could send me your reports I'd appreciate it.
Thanks
Bob
»> "Dudash, Joe" <joe.dudash@state.co.us> 12/22/2009 10:59:12 AM »>
Here is an e-mail copy of the letter I sent to you yesterday.
«borlet3.doc»
Tracking: Recipient
'Robert Major'
Brown, Sandy
Delivery
Delivered: 1/14/2005 12:49 PM
