This single pond is approved to remain as a permanent impoundment
following final approval of the pending Phase II/III bond release (SL-02) at the site. The
observations and color photographs in the report document conditions as observed and
reported by Division inspectors over the years. We concur with the observations as noted.
We have no questions regarding the report. This is the final pond inspection report for the
Rimrock mine. Thank you for your diligence in completing your monitoring requirements in
accordance with the Rules governing coal mining.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
Kent A.
