Box 279 <br />Glenwood Springs, Colorado 87602 <br />(303) 945-7755 <br />Denver Duecl Line: 893-1608 <br />Wright Water Engineers is reviewing Senate Bill 120 submittals for the State Engineer's Office. <br />We will need the following information as indicated below in order to complete the review: <br />Map or photo documenting claimed surface acreages. <br />Copy of aerial photos indicating pre-1981 and post-1981 gravel pit area. <br />X Evidence of lease or ownership of water rights proposed for replacement water required <br />prior to final approval. <br />_ Based on SEO previous experience, 4 percent of product removed by weight is water. <br />Please use 4 percent in the accounting of replacement water requirements unless <br />documentation can be provided showing differently. <br />/ X An accounting form (monthly frequency at minimum) shall be provided showing <br />~l estimates of the following items: (I) pit size; (2) gross pit evaporation; (3) phreato- <br />) phyte consumptive use credit; (4) net pit evaporation; (S) water carried away with the <br />Il~'yv mined sand and gravel; (6) diversions from the pit for dust control, land reclamation, <br />v irrigation, etc.; (7j total depletion impact on the river, reservoir or replacement source <br />augmentation releases; (8) available headgate diversion; (9) available historic <br />consumptive use credits, and (10) transportation loss charges. All items in this list may <br />not be applicable to every proposal. Likewise, certain proposals may require additional <br />accounting. <br />_ Is there a well within 600 feet of the permitted well location? <br />Please use 70 percent of annual precipitation as effective precipitation. <br />Note: You may claim ice cover for January and February to decrease the evaporative <br />losses, but you need documentation. <br />
