NORMAN BLAKE <br />Gentlemen: <br />This application for a permit to operate open mining sand and gravel is <br />for our Weng Pit. The location is approximately three miles east of Lyons, in the <br />St. Vrain Creek Valley. No mining has taken place by Western Paving Construction <br />Co, to date, but preparations are under way to begin mining in the near future on <br />areas 1974, 1975 and 1976 (See attached Fisk- Henningson, Durham 8~ Richardson <br />Plan). <br />We delightfully submit the Boulder County Permit, and a small portion of <br />pertinent documents necessary to achieve this feat. <br />Find enclosed plans and documents: -- <br />(I) Application to operate open mining, with attached check. <br />(2) Site Development Plan by Charles C. Fisk, Henningson, Durham 8~ <br />Richardson, E.A.
