~~

4.02 SIGNS AND MARKERS
iii ~iiiiiiiiiiu iii
sss Doc Date:12/11/2001
Colowyo has posted and will maintain all signs and markers required
by this section. All of the signs are of uniform design and can be
easily seen or read. The signs are made either of metal or wood;
they are durable enough to withstand extreme climatic conditions
that are inherent at the operations. The signs conform with local
ordinances and codes.
Colowyo will maintain signs and markers during the conduct of all
activities to which they pertain.
4.02.2 Mine and Permit Identification Signs
Appropriate signs identifying the mine area are displayed at the
point of access to the permit area from Highway 13/789. These
signs indicate the name, business address, and telephone number of
Colowyo and identification numbers of mining and reclamation
permits.
• 4.02.3 Perimeter Markers
The perimeter of the permit area is clearly marked with metal signs
and/or wire fencing where appropriate. Additional markers include
steel fence posts painted orange or capped with PVC caps painted
orange.
4.02.4 Duration of Maintenance
Colowyo will maintain signs and markers throughout the life of the
operation or post new signs and markers as necessary.
4.02.5 Stream Buffer Zone Markers
All major operations near Good Spring Creek have ceased.
